Imaginarium Aquarium

This painting references the Gestalt effect or the form-forming capability of our senses, particularly the visual recognition of figures and whole forms instead of just a collection of simple lines and curves. Is finding specific images in inanimate objects a manifestation of the viewer's thoughts? I was thinking about dragon mythology and so I saw dragons.

I hope to make the viewer do some of the work in this piece. My controlling nature wants to find all the images and then present them to the viewer as finished items.
